“The Split”
Decked Pool Cover

Our favourite pool cover and deck solution!

A very versatile decking option that can be configured according to the size of your swimming pool and surrounding space.

The deck runs on tracks and as the name suggests the cover splits and slides out from the center. The split does not necessarily have to split from the middle and can be configured to meet your needs.

The deck is load bearing so while the pool is not being used as a pool, the space can be reclaimed and extend your existing deck / pool area.

FAQ’s

  • No, we are the frame manufacturer and supplier.

Coordination of the installation will need to be arranged by you through a nearby contractor, pool builder, or structural landscaper.

There is also the option for self-installation as a property owner if you have the required building knowledge..

  • Absolutely, we design the frame fabrication to accommodate for a motor and we use a standard gate motor to open and close the deck. There are options to use a remote alternatively an application on your phone.

  • While WPC and other contemporary composite materials are generally trouble-free, it is crucial to adhere to laying regulations. WPC, for instance, requires a support distance of approximately < 45cm, a factor that must be considered in your installation plans. To accommodate this requirement, we provide an intermediate edition for WPC, ensuring a support width of less than 0.45m.

  • Our pool decks are suitable for the installation of tiles and/or stone slabs. Due to their high density and substantial weight, these materials may exceed the intended surface load capacity of the sliding pool deck. The vulnerable point in the design lies in the wheels, with each wheel capable of supporting a maximum load of 500kg during opening and closing.

Should you require tiles or stone slabs for your pool deck, kindly submit an inquiry with the precise dimensions and weights of the stones. We can explore options for small, reinforced pool decks with increased overall height and additional wheels. However, it's important to note that spans exceeding 4m are not feasible, as our product range is not engineered for such configurations.
