Due to the load bearing capacity, the material and space required for larger pools to have a deckings system other applications might need to be considered.
Some maintenance!
Automated sliding deck pool covers have a motor that will need to be maintained and serviced on an annual bases much like a gate motor does. Depending on the decking chosen there will be some deck maintenance to be considered over the longer term.
